Yields1 ServingPrep Time4 hrsCook Time5 minsTotal Time4 hrs 5 mins

Lemon lavender martini in martini glass

4 fl oz Dry gin (we used Avaition)
1 fl oz Durant Olive Mill Lavender Fused Olive Oil
1 fl oz Freshly squeezed lemon juice
½ fl oz Creme de violette
½ fl oz Maraschino liqueur (cherry liquor)
 2 Luxardo (Maraschino) cherries
 1 tbsp White sugar
1 tsp Durant Kitchen culinary lavender
1

In a freezer-safe container pour in both the gin and Durant Olive Mill Lavender Fused Olive Oil, seal, and shake vigorously until the oil and gin are impossible to differentiate from each other.

2

Freeze for four hours, or overnight.

3

Remove from the freezer. Strain the gin from the hardened oil.

4

Prepare two coup glasses by mixing the sugar and Durant Kitchen Culinary Lavender into a shallow dish and readying a second shallow dish with water. Dip one side of each coup glass into the water and then the sugar/lavender mixture and set aside.

5

In a cocktail shaker, add gin, lemon juice, creme de violette, maraschino liqueur, and two big handfuls of ice cubes. Place the lid over your shaker and shake well for ten to fifteen seconds- your hands should begin to feel the chill through the shaker's walls.

6

Gently place a Luxardo cherry into the center of each coup and double strain the cocktail evenly between coups and serve.
