And so, the next iteration of our Hungry Life Live Series is a pure and bountiful celebration of summer salads. Coming to you straight from the source: Chef Eduardo Garcia will be streaming live from the garden on August 13th!

He’ll be preparing three unique recipes: a classic leafy caesar, a hearty grain bulgar salad, and a roasted beet and carrot salad. And through these dishes, you’ll learn the basics of centuries old techniques like coal roasting, emulsification, and preparing labneh - a strained farmer’s cheese.

Durant Recipe Box | GRILLED PEACHES

This summer, embrace the grill to highlight fresh, seasonal ingredients. Make ripe, juicy peaches the star of a quick and easy dessert. The heat of the grill, a sprinkle of sugar and spice, and a drizzle of Durant Balsamic and White Peach Vinegars elevate this simple dish with incredible flavor. Serve these peaches on their own, or enhance them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of fresh whipped cream.

INGREDIENTS
* 2 Ripe peaches
* 1 tbsp Brown sugar
* 1 tsp Cinnamon
* Durant White Peach Vinegar
* Durant Classic Balsamic Vinegar
* Your favorite vanilla ice cream or whipped cream

DIRECTIONS
1 - Fire up the grill and allow it to preheat on high for about 10 minutes.
2 - Slice the peaches in a turning motion from the stem, around to the bottom, and back to the stem. Twist each half to break the peach open and remove the pit. With the fruit side up, drizzle the peaches with olive oil.
3 - In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon and set aside.
4 - Place the peaches on the grill, fruit side down. Grill for 5 to 10 minutes on each side, until the peaches are tender and have deep grill marks.
5 - Remove the peaches from the grill and sprinkle the fruit side with the brown sugar-cinnamon mixture.
6 - To serve, drizzle the plate with white peach vinegar and balsamic vinegar. Place grilled peaches on top, skin side down. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and an additional drizzle of both vinegars or any of our Durant olive oils!
