Charcoal Grilled Baby Back Ribs
  • 1 slab pork baby back ribs, cut in half
  • ¼ cup smokey BBQ Rub
  • 2 cups Durant Rosé of Pinot Noir
  • 1 bottle Durant Pinot Noir Barbeque Sauce
  1. Generously rub down all sides of the ribs with 1/4 cup of your favorite BBQ rub
  2. Let rest for a minimum of i hour or preferably overnight
  3. Heat oven to 325°F
  4. In a standard 9x13" baking dish, pour in the wine and place the dry rubbed ribs bone side down
  5. Tightly wrap the entire pan with aluminum foil so steam cannot escape
  6. Cook for 1 1/2 hours.
  7. While the ribs are cooking, preheat your grill to a med-low heat
  8. When the ribs are done cooking in oven, remove from baking dish and transfer to hot grill
  9. Lightly char up both sides of the ribs, then begin basting with Durant Pinot Noir Barbeque Sauce until nicely glazed and lacquered on both sides
  10. Continue to cook over indirect heat until desired tenderness and smokiness is achieved
  11. Finish with a light dusting of the your favorite Smokey BBQ Rub and enjoy!
