Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil.

Remove from heat and add a handful of geranium leaves (any scented geranium can be used for this recipe, but we recommend using lime-scented geranium).

Let mixture steep until cool. Strain and store refrigerated for up to a month.
For Geranium Mojito:

In a cocktail shaker, combine lime juice, geranium syrup and rum (or vodka if preferred). Fill with ice and shake vigorously for 8-12 seconds.

Strain into a glass, fill 3/4 of the way with ice, then top with soda water.

Garnish with a fresh geranium leaf and enjoy!
