29 Jul Geranium Mojito
You can use a Collins, Highball, or Pint Glass for this cocktail. Non-alcoholic option: add 2 oz geranium syrup to a glass filled with ice and top with sparkling water. Find Lime Scented Geranium in the Durant Nursery! Recipe courtesy of Joseph Andreas.
Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
Remove from heat and add a handful of geranium leaves (any scented geranium can be used for this recipe, but we recommend using lime-scented geranium).
Let mixture steep until cool. Strain and store refrigerated for up to a month.
In a cocktail shaker, combine lime juice, geranium syrup and rum (or vodka if preferred). Fill with ice and shake vigorously for 8-12 seconds.
Strain into a glass, fill 3/4 of the way with ice, then top with soda water.
Garnish with a fresh geranium leaf and enjoy!
